Body Scrub (Kese) Ritual

Traditional Cleansing and Skin Renewal

The Body Kese Exfoliation Ritual is a traditional body treatment originating from Eastern Hammam culture. Using a special Kese mitt, dead skin cells are gently removed, leaving the skin smoother, softer and refreshed. The treatment also supports circulation and the skin's natural renewal process.

  • Helps remove dead skin cells
  • Leaves skin smoother, softer and refreshed
  • Supports improved circulation
  • Creates a more complete SPA ritual when combined with the Turkish Hammam
  • Performed by a professional therapist in a dedicated Kese room
  • Traditional body care treatment

The Body Kese Ritual is usually performed after the Turkish Hammam or Steam Room. The heat and humidity soften the skin, after which dead skin cells are gently removed using the special Kese mitt.

The result is smoother, softer and refreshed-looking skin.

FAQ

What is a kese (body scrub) and what does it do?+

A kese is a traditional body exfoliation using a textured mitt and warm water. It lifts away dead skin cells and impurities, helping to deeply cleanse the skin and leave it smoother, cleaner and renewed, while the ritual itself is relaxing.

Should I combine the body scrub with the hammam?+

Yes, it is the ideal pairing. The warmth and steam of the Turkish bath soften the skin first, so the scrub removes dead skin more effectively and feels more comfortable. Many members enjoy the hammam and kese together as one ritual.

How often can I have a body scrub?+

For most people, a body scrub fits well as a regular part of a wellness routine rather than a daily treatment, giving the skin time to renew between sessions. Our spa team can advise on the rhythm that suits your skin and goals.
